HEAT-CHECK SV
Accurate material or waste quantification in containers, and thermal management data.
For the most accurate quantification of small containers
HEAT-CHECK SV uses calorimetry, a non-destructive method that exploits the heat released during the decay of radioactive materials.
Applications
HEAT-CHECK SV can detect many types of emitters, but it is mostly used to quantify alpha emitters (transuranians such as Pu or Am) and pure beta emitters (including tritium). These measurements are applied to inventories or radioactive material management needs. HEAT-CHECK SV can also be used for heat release measurements, essential for thermal management of a containers storage or disposal site.
Why is it Unique?
-
MEASUREMENTS OF SMALL VOLUME WASTE OR CONTAINERS
Up to 3 to 15 liters
-
QUANTITATIVE AND NON-DESTRUCTIVE MEASUREMENTS
With the highest accuracy for isotopes like plutonium or tritium
-
RESULTS INDEPENDENT OF MATRIX AND CONDITIONING EFFECTS
Ideal addition to gamma spectrometry
-
SOFTWARE AND AUTOMATION OPTIONS
For a simple and safe use
